ROGERSVILLE—If your pet is in need of a new look, Doggie Doo’s by Stephanie is open for business. A one-stop-shop for your pet’s hygiene needs, Doggie Doo’s offers 13 years of grooming experience, a certified pet safety and cpr owner/groomer, and an additional independent groomer.

Stephanie Trent, Doggie Doo’s owner, began her career in pet grooming in 2003 where she learned from her previous employer, Debbie Davidson. Following Debbie’s decision to retire at the end of March 2015, Stephanie decided to take over the business.

She stayed at the original location in Bulls Gap for a few months then in October she brought her grooming business to her hometown, Rogersville.

Stephanie said, “Some days it is hard to believe I have my own business. I never believed I had the courage to do it but with everyone’s support I did it and I can’t thank my clients enough for making all this possible. Without them I wouldn’t have a business. I have always loved animals and I can honestly say that I love what I do; I love my job.”

People travel from as far away as Charleston, SC to have the pets groomed by Stephanie.

Here is what some of them had to say:

Sandy Penland said that she has brought her pets to Stephanie for 10 years because she does a great job. Sheila Shelton added, “She is a great groomer.”

Shari Dinkins said, “I have a seven-year-old Bichon Frise named Lily Belle, and we love Ms. Stephi. Stephanie loves my baby girl nearly as much as I do and Lily adores Ms. Shephi! I don’t leave my baby girl with just anyone and it is comforting to know when I drop her off with Stephanie Lilly is getting loved on and spoiled. Stephanie is the best there is.”

Amanda Smith said, “She is wonderful! I take Ollie, my Miniature Schnauzer to Stephanie and she has always done an excellent job. I have absolutely no complaints. I will never take him to anyone else.”

Crystal Pickering has been bringing her Yorkie, Ford to Stephanie for four years and says that she will never take him anywhere else. “She has an excellent way with dogs, she talks to them like people, and treats them as her own. She has even called to check on Ford if he is sick!”

Charla Helton said, “Stephanie is wonderful, she loves the pets as her own. I have been taking my Maltipoo, Kenzie to her for seven years. Someone brought their dog into the place I worked and it looked so good that I asked them where they got it groomed and they said Doggie Doo’s. I have been going there ever since.”

Stephanie rents out a station at Doggie Doo’s to Makayla Gray. Makayla went to grooming school at Nash Academy in Kentucky. By the addition of another groomer, Doggie Doo’s can offer more availability for newcomers and current clients. Stephanie and Makayla also help each other out when necessary.
