ROGERSVILLE — Criminal charges are pending in a crash that claimed the life of a Hawkins County motorcyclist on Tuesday evening.

According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a motorcycle being driven by Mark D. Mullins, 52, of Rogersville, was headed east on Austin Mill Road near Rogersville.

About 7:13 p.m. on June 4, 2019, Trooper Anthony Bull’s report stated, the 2006 Suzuki C50 collided near the center line with a 2016 Dodge Journey, which was headed west.

Mullins was fatally injured in the crash.

The driver of the Dodge, Judyann M. Hottle, 38, of Rogersville, was not injured.

“Both vehicles struck in the exact center of the roadway,” Bull said in his report, adding that the motorcycle, “came to an uncontrolled final rest on the north side of the roadway, damaged to the extent that make, model and VIN could not be discerned.”
