SNEEDVILLE — They did it!

The Mooresburg/Bean Station/Hancock County Girls Little League Softball 12U team is undefeated, the District 6 Champions, and headed for the Tennessee State Senior League Tournament this weekend in Portland, Tenn.

Their first game is at 9 a.m. Saturday morning against Morristown at the park complex, located at Elvis Brown Little League Park, 110 West Market Street in Portland.

The ladies lost Game One to Maryville (7-4) in district playoff action, but quickly rebounded in Game Two to defeat Grainger County (13-3). In Game Three, the ladies were again paired with Maryville, but this time showed their opponents how it’s done by collecting a 10-3 win. An 18-5 win in Game Four against Maryville was the clincher that sent the ladies to State playoffs.
