TROY WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SERVICE: Vardy Presbyterian Church Museum, Vardy-Blackwater Rd., Sneedville, beginning at 10 a.m. Memorial service and sharing of memories of Troy, with a dinner reception to follow.

SECOND ANNUAL JOSHUA MABE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP RIDE: Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Hancock Co. Rescue Squad Building. Cost per bike $10, ride begins at 11 a.m., and ends 3-4 hours later at Stoney Gap Church, a meal will be served for $10 a plate. All proceeds go to deserving seniors at Hancock Co High School. ROGERSVILLE FOURTH OF JULY PARADE: Downtown Historic Rogersville, beginning at 11 a.m.

FOURTH OF JULY IN THE PARK: Rogersville City Park, Andrea Davidson Band and Bulls Gap Band will be performing beginning at 5 p.m. Food vendors will be on site. Free admission. Fireworks after concert (weather permitting).
