I have a message for every Democrat and RINO in Congress:
The election of 2016 is over ... long over.
Donald Trump won ... big-time.
Hillary Clinton lost ... big-time.
And after wasting two years and $35 million of our (borrowed) tax dollars, not one shred of evidence has been produced that the President did anything wrong.
What was produced is more than enough evidence to indict a heck of a lot of the Deep State Obama swamp leftovers and Democrat whiners, complainers and partisan political hacks who simply, still to this day, cannot wrap their brains around the fact that their Queen-incarnate lost to a political newcomer whom very few gave a snowball’s chance on a hot barbecue grill of winning.
My advice: grow up and get over yourselves.
Our nation has REAL problems that need to be addressed ... NOW.
Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Jerry Nadler and that clueless crowd make me want to barf whenever they pop up on the TV screen.
What we do NOT need is more political grandstanding and hot-airbags mouthing off in D.C. about a “Russian collusion” that was more of Hillary’s and the DNC’s making than anyone else.
No matter whether you were ‘for’ or ‘against’ him, Donald Trump is now our President and after two years of being in office, he may have not done everything “perfectly”, but I challenge anyone to dispute the fact that America’s economy is absolutely exploding.
Unemployment — especially among women, blacks, Hispanics and Asians — is at an all-time low.
There are literally more jobs than there are people to fill those positions.
Productivity is skyrocketing.
The stock market is at historic levels.
Businesses and industries are expanding and hiring like crazy, thanks to the GOP-led corporate tax cuts and the elimination of thousands of ridiculously stupid Obama-era regulations.
America is once again respected around the world because, unlike Obama, Trump doesn’t traipse around the planet apologizing for all of America’s faults and failures.
You readers know that I personally was not an enthusiastic passenger on the Trump Train in the beginning.
I personally favored Dr. Ben Carson, whom I had met and interviewed several times, and liked very much.
But I did vote for Trump in the end because I could not stomach the thought of electing that crooked-as-a-dang-snake, two-faced Hillary Clinton to a position where she could possibly nominate as many as five new justices (liberal, left-wing, pro-abortion, anti-2nd Amendment types) to the U.S. Supreme Court during her four- or possibly eight-year tenure as POTUS.
It is now 2019, and — guess what??? — almost time for a NEW election!
The 2016 election is history.
The people spoke.
The majority ruled.
The system worked.
This is America, not Amerika, and hereabouts, we have always had peaceful transitions of power when it comes to the changing of the guard at the highest level of our national government.
Here, we do not have to worry about military coups or tanks rolling through the streets on the day after elections.
That, my friends, is what separates “us” from “them” ... the communist, fascist and radical Islamic dictators who rule the one-candidate-fits-all “elections” in their oppressed nations with iron-fisted intolerance for a true two-party system such as we have here, a system where the PEOPLE get to have a real voice in who our leaders are.
Because we DO have a choice is reason to celebrate.
We should be eternally grateful to our Founding Fathers for setting this system of government in place.
When it comes to politics, I’ll be honest with you: never in my adult life have I voted a “straight party” ticket in any election.
Never have, never will.
That’s because I look at a candidate and his/her character, beliefs, background and experience a heck of a lot more than I look at their political labels.
I have voted for winners and losers.
I have voted for Democrats, Republicans and Independents ... and even written in a few names along the way.
But not once have I ever took to the streets, burned a sacred American flag, or bashed in someone’s car window with a baseball bat because I was angry that “my” candidate lost, nor have I ever thought that my vote was wasted just because “my guy” or “my lady” lost.
Mad? Heck yeah, sometimes in elections past, I have been mad enough to spit over how any American with common sense, a brain in their head, and knowledge of who we are and how we got here could vote for some moronic air-head idiot who wouldn’t know how to lead a country if it bit him/her in the behind.
But as an American, I soon realize that while the Democratic Republic we live in may not be absolutely flawless, it is the best the world has ever seen to-date, and in presidential elections, I will accept the verdict of my fellow Americans — even if I don’t agree with it — until the next election rolls around when we all will get another opportunity to express our opinions at the ballot box.
That doesn’t mean that I give up the right to express my opinion, pro or con, but when I do so it will always be in a peaceful way with respect for our heritage, our Constitution, and the millions of heroic men and women who fought, bled and many of whom died to give you and me that right ... and the right to cast a secret ballot on election day for the candidate whom we think is best suited for the job.
Donald J. Trump is the 45th President of The United States of America and I for one think he is doing a dang fine job so far.
And, he could done a lot more had the idiot RINOs (Republicans in Name Only) in his own party and the Whineycrats got behind him and helped to Make America Great Again ... together.
