ROGERSVILLE — The public is invited to a meeting of the newly reorganized Hawkins Co. Anti-Drug Coalition on Monday, April 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Rescue Squad building in Rogersville.
“We will have recovered addicts telling their stories and we need community support,” said the coalition’s Brittny Horton.
The Hawkins Co. Anti Drug Coalition is the organization’s formal name, according to Horton.
“Our goals are to bring awareness to the drug problem, make possible early intervention efforts, such as going into the schools, and increasing community support for addicts who are struggling.”
All interested persons are invited to attend.
