KNOXVILLE — For the third consecutive year, Apex Bank has been named as the top performing community bank in Tennessee by the Independent Community Bankers Association’s (ICBA) Top-Performing Community Banks industry analysis, as featured in this month’s edition of Independent Banker magazine. Additionally, Apex Bank maintained the number two spot nationwide for banks with $300 million to $1 billion in assets.
“I commend our team for their efforts this year and for their commitment to our overarching vision for community banking,” said Matt Daniels, President and CEO of Apex Bank. “We’ve had an exciting year of growth, expanded our footprint with the deployment of several new offices, and launched new online features to better serve our customers.”
Apex Bank’s unwavering commitment to customer service and the communities it serves have been the bank’s guiding principles, a news release stated.
“From day one, we’ve understood that our service-based industry is defined by our customers,” said Daniels. “That’s why we take a unique approach to banking with a flexible mindset for new ideas. We are always looking for new ways to enhance our customer experience inside our offices and through our expanding digital platforms.”
With $578 million in assets, Apex Bank currently operates 15 retail offices throughout Tennessee — including a branch at Bulls Gap — in addition to its Knoxville-based national mortgage-servicing center.
