KNOXVILLE — Investigators are asking the public to be on the lookout for, and to alert them if anyone has seen or can identify the man shown in the accompanying video surveillance photo.

Officials say the man, who has been dubbed the “Big Box Bandit”, is wanted in connection with several bank robberies, including one in Kingsport.

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.

According to investigators, the man allegedly robbed three banks and a check cashing business in Walmart stores in Kingsport, Chattanooga, and Clinton, Tenn., and Shelbyville, Indiana.

He is also a suspect in the robbery of a bank in Candler, North Carolina, and in a carjacking in Knoxville.

Officials said the man is known to drive an older model Ford Taurus and, more recently, a gold Chevy Trailblazer which was stolen from Knoxville.
