Peggy Ann Berlin, age 71, of Rogersville died unexpectedly on Monday, January 18th, 2010. She was born on April 11th, 1938 in Pleasantville, Pennsylvania. She resided in Kane, Pennsylvania for 35 years and worked at Houston Electronics for 22 years. On April 11th, in Kane she married Robert O. Berlin, who survives. She was a member of the Hope Community Church in Rogersville. She was a loving, caring person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an avid Elvis fan and loved music. She enjoyed helping others and always went the extra mile to be kind. Her generosity touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. She is survived by two daughters and a son: Clara (Mike) Avenali of Kane; June (Fred) Robinson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Rob (Liz) Berlin of Edgmoor, South Carolina. Her beloved grandchildren include: Tony Farley (Florida), Michael Avenali (Ohio), Alicia (Mike) Swanson Yargar (Pennsylvania), Amanda Miller (Pennsylvania), Angie Robinson (South Carolina), Travis Robinson (Florida), Ryan Berlin (South Carolina), and Craig Berlin (Pennsylvania). Two great grand-children Izzy and Izaiah Yargar (Pennsylvania). Also surviving are four step-children; Debbie Peterson, Sue Weaver, Gary Berlin, and Jodi Walker. She is survived by one sister, Betty Rosman (New York) and one brother, Ted Marshall (Pennsylvania). Also, nieces and nephews and a dear friend Martha Snelson of Bulls Gap. She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Farley. Also, two brothers and a sister. A memorial service was held at the Hope Community. Church in Rogersville on January 21st.
