Dyrrell L. Goodman, age 49, of Surgoinsville, passed away Sunday evening at Wellmont Hawkins County Hospital.  
    He was employeed at Holiston Mills and a member of Howes Chapel Baptist Church.  He was a member of Teamsters Union 501.
    He was preceded in death by two sons; Jarad and Jeremiah Goodman, paternal grandparents; Winton and Sarah Goodman, paternal grandparents; Frank and Martha Hicks.
    He is survived by his life long partner, Tammie Goodman of the home, two sons, Jamie Goodman of the home and Jason Goodman and wife Christine of Surgoinsville, granddaughter, Kylie Brooke Goodman, grandson, Gauge Dishner, parents, Edith and Hobert (Nooge) Goodman of Surgoinsville, sister, Tina Morrison of Surgoinsville, brother, Danny Goodman of Rogersville, several nieces and nephews, a very special friend Willie Warren.
    The family will recieve friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Sells Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Dee Hicks officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
